I’m back! – Adventures in Italy

You may have noticed that the blog has been a little quiet lately. That’s because I was in Italy for three weeks! I meant to post something before leaving but was so busy getting ready, finishing things up at work etc. that I didn’t have time.

I’ll be recapping our trip eventually. For now here are some highlights.

We started with a 1o day tour that began with two nights in Rome. We saw the major sights here and did a lot of walking.

Next we went to Pisa

Doing the cheesy touristy picture with the Leaning Tower of Pisa. You know I had to.

Followed by a morning in Cinque Terre

And an evening in the Medieval walled city of Lucca.

We spent the second half of our trip on our own (not on an organized tour) and added a few extra days in Rome where we did a food tour and a vespa tour!

Finally, we travelled to Paestum for my cousin’s wedding

where we also got to explore the Greek ruins.

Me with the Temple of Athena – the smallest of the temples in Paestum’s Greek ruins.

It was amazing and I can’t wait to go into more detail.

Now that I’m back, I’m getting back into running and back into shape. Warrior Dash is coming up, and I’ll be posting the recap from last year’s memorable race shortly!
